Shane Setzer

Shane Gavon Setzer of Spokane, passed away peacefully on January 1, 2023, surrounded by close family and friends. Survived by his mother and father Trish and Duane Wagner, his brother Jason Setzer and Jason's partner Dawn Yukl, sisters Bonnie Wagner, and Connie Wagner, his brother Chase Setzer, nephew Chase Setzer, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, their children, countless friends, and his beloved dog Lucy. Shane graduated from Ferris High School in 1991 and later, from the Inland Northwest Culinary Academy at Spokane Community College. He loved cooking, carpentry, and making people laugh. Shane was greatly loved by friends and family and was instantly loved by everyone he came into contact with, especially those fortunate enough to know him personally. His kindness, loyalty, loving nature, and one-of-a-kind sense of humor will be missed by all. A celebration of Shane's life will be held on April 1, 2023, Shane's birthday, at the VFW in the Spokane Valley at 1:00 p.m.
